General, Kerrier Healthy Living Centre

Kerrier Health Living Centre is one 349 schemes across the country funded for three years by the New Opportunities Fund. Kerrier is a region in the far west of Cornwall encompassing Lizard to the south and Redruth and Camborne near the north coast.

These pics come from its open day on 21 May 2003 at BT's Goonhilly satellite station near Helston. Kerrie Redington is the project manager of the entire KHLC. Gill Kingston is the KHLC's publicity officer.

Linda Mortimer is the head of community education at Camborne Pool Redruth College, which runs courses funded by KHLC. Sue Moss was someone who lives locally who just turned up at the open day. Hollie Muir is a young mother who benefits from Helston Young Parents' Group.
